Archery Ladder
The ladder is intended to promote friendly competition and rivalry within the club. Any archers deemed to be acting unfairly may be penalised by position. Any disputes to the rules shall be settled by the Tournament and Records Officer.
Rules
- An archer may challenge anyone up to 3 places further up the ladder, or 3 places from the bottom if not on the ladder.
- All matches will be a head to heads. The format can be modified if both archers agree, for example to accommodate a handicap between bowstyles.
- An archer who refuses a challenge shall be deemed to have lost the match.
- The match should happen on the day of the challenge, unless the archer receiving the challenge is scoring a round or otherwise occupied, in which case the match must happen in the next 2 sessions.
- You may not challenge the same person more than once per session.
- If a challenge is won the victor moves into the defeated archer's place, and everyone else moves down one place. Archers should move their position on the ladder once the match is concluded.
- No challange shall be issued within the last 45 minutes of a session.
- You must shoot your own bow setup
